Barbara Bogert

Barbara (nee Stankovci) Bogert of Ridgewood fell asleep peacefully, surrounded by family after a courageous battle with illness on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021.

She is survived by her son, Jeffrey, her mother Effie (nee Evanina) Stankovci; her sister, Sonya Finno and her husband, Chris and other loving family and friends. Spiritually guided by her cousin, Father Stephen Evanina. Barbara was predeceased by her father, Andrew Stankovci, in 2011.

In the past, Barbara used her beautiful voice in the St. John the Baptist Choir and loved music of all genres. She kept busy with frequent library visits, stray animals and garage sale treasures. Barbara has taken a piece of our hearts with her.

Visitation will be 3-7 pm Sunday at St. John the Baptist RO Church, 170 Lexington Ave. (cor. of Harrison St.), Passaic. Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Monday at the Church. Interment to follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
