Adelaide (Romaine) Carlock

Adelaide (nee Romaine) Carlock, 100, of Little Falls died Thursday, July 20, 2023 at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, Paterson.

Born in Little Falls, Adelaide was a lifelong resident. She retired as a Librarian at the Little Falls Public Library. Adelaide was an avid reader and gardener and played a wonderful piano.

She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Carlock, in 1998 and by her six siblings, Leonard, Walter, and Theodore Romaine, Florence Brownley, Evelyn Davies and Eleanor Case.

Survivors include: her two sons, Thomas Carlock and his wife, Janet of Wayne and Robert Carlock and his fiancé, Nickola of Montclair; her two granddaughters, Sarah Carlock and her husband, Karl Quimby and Anne Carlock.

Visitation will be from 10:30 – 11:30 am on Friday, August 4, 2023 at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30 am. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Visit www.bizubparker.com for directions/ condolences.
