ANA MARIA TORRES JESUS, 69, of Woodland Park died Tuesday in the presence of her family.
Born in Lima, Peru, she came to the United States in 1976 settling first in Paterson before moving to Woodland Park. She was a presser for Moline-Kronberg Cleaners of Upper Montclair. She loved to dance, cook and to visit the casinos.
She was predeceased by her parents, Rolando Torres Torres and Victoria (nee Jesus) Esteban.
Survivors include her four children, Andres M. Moreno Torres, Oscar M. Gonzalez, Carla W. Torres and Maria V. Torres; her siblings, Douglas Monroe, Nelson Monroe, Antonio Monroe, Pilar Monroe, Blanca Grandez and Rolando Torres and her eight grandchildren, Justin Torres, Jeremiah, Julian and Jordan Garcia, Ryan, Alexia, Giordano Gonzalez and Alexsandra Moreno.
Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Friday at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls. Funeral 8:15 am Saturday from the funeral home and 9:00 am at St. john the Baptist Cathedral, corner of Main and Grand Streets, Paterson.
