Anna May (Morris) Walter

ANNA MAY (nee Morris) Walter, 97, of Little Falls died Sunday, August 6, 2023.

Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, she resided in Little Falls since 1955. She had been a Public Health Nurse in NYC and for the Township of Little Falls among other nursing positions. Mrs. Walter earned her nursing degree from Adelphia University College of Nursing and School Nurse Certificate from Seton Hall University.

She was a member of the First Reformed Church of Little Falls; the Little Falls Historical Society and The Woman’s Club of Little Falls.

Mrs. Walter is predeceased by her dear husband, Raymond L. Walter, Sr. in 1996; her son, Raymond L. Walter, Jr., in 2021 and by her two brothers, Norman and Louis Morris.

Survivors include her two daughters, Kristiane George (Stephen) of North Caldwell and Bonnijean Walter of Little Falls; her two beloved grandchildren, Michael Andrew Maykish and his wife, Sarah Maykish of Winnabow, NC and Kathryn Ahuja and her husband Roopak of Chappaqua, NY and her three cherished  great granddaughters, Anna , Evelyn and Ariya. Anna May also leaves treasured extended family and many friends.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 pm at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Little Falls. Funeral will be at 10:00 am Monday at First Reformed Church, 65 Main Street, Little Falls.
