Barbara A. (Marra) Herman

BARBARA A. (nee Marra) HERMAN, 82, of Little Falls died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022.

Born in Newark, NJ, Mrs. Herman was raised in West Orange before moving to Little Falls in the early 1960s, residing her until moving to Galloway in 2018.

She was a  member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Great Notch Fire Co. #4 of Little Falls Fire Department; a bocce player at Four Seasons at Smithville Bocce Club, was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. She loved Wildwood and above all loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, John D. Herman, on February 4, 2022; her grandson, James Hearney; her brother, Bob Marra and her parents, George D. and Harriet E. (nee Hodge) Marra.

Survivors include: her two daughters, Sharon Herman of Galloway and Tammy Hearney and her husband, James of Little Falls; and her two grandchildren, Melissa Deysher and her husband, Steven and Michael Hearney.

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022 at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Little Falls with a funeral service at 7:30 pm. Private Cremation to follow. Memorial Contributions to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, PO Box Drawer 498, Emmitsburg, MD 21727 would be appreciated.
