Dominick J. La Tona, 95, of Basking Ridge died Monday, October 6, 2025.
Born in Newark, New Jersey, Dominick resided in North Arlington, graduating from North Arlington High School in 1947, before moving to Little Falls where he lived for 47 years. He then moved to Woodland Park and most recently Basking Ridge.
He retired in 1989 as a Manufacturing Engineer with AT&T- Western Electric of Clark where he worked for 35 years.
He was a Veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Air Force from 1950-54. He was a member of Singac Post #108 of the American Legion, the Davinci Club and the NY Mandolin Orchestra.
He was predeceased by his wife, the former Sarah Danese, in 2021; by his parents, Salvatore and Anna (nee Scaduto) La Tona; his brother, Albert La Tona and his sisters, Carmella Guarino and Angela Domino.
Survivors include his three daughters, Rachel Padian and her husband, Christopher of Basking Ridge, NJ. Anna La Tona of Union, NJ and Laura Reimer of Vancouver, BC; his sister, Mary Porcelli; his three grandchildren, Paul Padian and his husband, Hayden Bass, Leah La Tona and Leanne Reimer and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be at 9:30 am on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Holy Angels RC Church, 465 Main St., Little Falls. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
