DONALD C. RUTHE, 88, of Riverdale died Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Chilton Medical Center in Pequannock.
Born in Newark, NJ, Mr. Ruthe resided in Belleville before moving to Nutley where he raised his family and lived for most of his life. He moved to Riverdale later in life. Mr. Ruthe was a stereotyper for the Paterson Evening News. Subsequently, he owned Ruthe Window Cleaning and Maintenance Company until his retirement. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving during the Korean Conflict on a Patrol Squadron.
As a true Navy veteran, he loved to spend time on the water either boating or participating in water sports. He had so many amazing times with family and great friends at Lake Wallenpaupack & Lake George!
He was predeceased by his wife, the former Doris E. Craft whom he married on November 12, 1960 and by his parents, John C. and Mary (nee Bidun) Ruthe and by his sister, Regina Charette and her late husband, Robert.
Survivors include his two daughters, Karen Feniello and her husband, Greg of Little Falls; Kelly Puglisi and her husband, Kenneth of Wyckoff; his son, Scott Ruthe and his wife, Tara of Oakland; his five grandchildren, Jessica Nestor and her husband, Kyle; Drew Feniello and his fiance', Michelle Greco, Kassidy Puglisi, Grace and Anna Ruthe and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls. Funeral Mass will be 9:15 am Sharp Monday, March 31, 2025 at St. Catherine of Siena RC Church, East Bradford Avenue, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009 followed by entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
