Doris E. Ruthe

Doris E. (nee Craft) Ruthe, 85, of Riverdale, formerly of Nutley, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023.

Born in Newark, NJ, Doris resided in Nutley for 27 years before moving to Fairfield and more recently in Riverdale. She had been employed for over 20 years at Rowe-Manse Emporium, formerly of Clifton. She was a former parishioner of Holy Family RC Church of Nutley.

Doris was predeceased by her parents, William T. and Gladys (nee Williams) Craft and by her sister, Gladys Rafferty.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Donald C. Ruthe; her three children, Karen Feniello and her husband, Greg of Little Falls; Scott Ruthe and his wife, Tara of Oakland; Kelly Puglisi and her husband, Kenneth of Wyckoff and and her grandchildren, Jessica Feniello (Fiancé, Kyle Nestor), Drew Feniello, Grace Ruthe, Anna Ruthe and Kassidy Puglisi.

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Little Falls. Funeral will be 9:45 am Wednesday from the funeral home followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Mass at St. Catherine of Siena RC Church, 339 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
