Dorothy L. (nee Urgovitch) Farber, 95, of Little Falls died Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at home while receiving the loving care of her family.
Born in Garfield, NJ, Dorothy was raised there before moving to New York and Florida and has resided in Little Falls since 1968. She was a Flight Attendant with the former National Airlines, which later became Pan Am Airlines, in the 1950s. Her passion for flying led to her family’s thirst for travel.
She was predeceased by her husband, Sanford J. Farber, 2004; her parents, Joseph and Mary (nee Pietro) Urgovitch and by her sister, Dolores Roman.
Survivors include: her son, David R. Farber of New York, NY; her two daughters, Lori Todisco and her husband, Mark of Towaco and Nancy Di Nello of Totowa; her six grandchildren, Michael Todisco, Marco Di Nello, Alyssa Allen, Jaclyn Gajdos, Eric Todisco and Gina Di Nello and her five great grandchildren: Nora and Kate Di Nello, Ava Allen, Lucas Todisco and Kaia Gajdos.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-4 pm on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Little Falls with a Memorial Service at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, you are encouraged to make a contribution to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105 (www.stjude.org).
