Obituary

DOUGLAS MAHER, 67, of Hackettstown, NJ died suddenly on Tuesday, February 14, 2023.
Born July 24, 1955 in Paterson, Douglas was the son of the late Vernon and Anna May (nee Cole) Maher.  Douglas was raised in Oakland, before moving to Pompton Lakes with his wife. He relocated to Ohio for work in 2011, returning to New Jersey in 2017 to be closer to his grandchildren. Douglas was employed as a Production Supervisor for Anta Electric Inc. Previously, he spent over 30 years with Servo-Tek Products Co. of Hawthorne, NJ.

In his free time, Douglas enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren. Often calling himself a mad scientist, Douglas was a problem solver who loved wood-working, electronics, and circuitry. He took pleasure in experimenting with 3-D Printing, making figurines and cookie cutters for his family and friends.
