Drew M. Wisse

Drew M. Wisse, 59, of Little Falls died Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Chilton Medical Center, Pequannock.

Born in Passaic, Mr. Wisse spent his formative years in Prospect Park and has resided in Little Falls for the last 24 years. He was employed at Haledon Auto Parts of Haledon and previously was employed at Borough Jeep Eagle of Wayne for 30+ years. He was a former member of North End Reformed Church, formerly of Clifton.

He was predeceased by his father, James Wisse in 2014 and his father-in-law, Donald Grossi in 2011.

Survivors include: his wife, the former Julianna Grossi; his three children, Vincent P., James C. and Veronica J. Wisse, all of Little Falls; his adored nieces, Sia and Jerika Maksymowicz, both of Little Falls; his mother, Ruthanne (nee Martin) Wisse of North Haledon; his sister, Rhonda Oostdyk and her husband, Robert of Pompton Plains; his nieces, Alyson and Jessica Oostdyk and a host of adoring nephews, Christopher, Brian, Joseph, Francis, Philip Jr.; his mother in law, Veronica Walker Grossi; his sister in laws Veronica Eagen and Mercedes Appaluccio; his brother in law, Philip Grossi and his wife, Millie. Drew also leaves behind a legion of lifelong friends. He was also predeceased by his faithful canine companions Brandy, Crosby, Nash, Rutger and Bruno. His motto was always “Life is a series of dogs”, and he loved all of his. 

Drew loved the Grateful Dead, NY Giants, the NY Rangers and his Grandma Martin’s baking. He always reminisced about his family’s yearly camping trips to Lake George growing up and his salmon fishing trips to Wolftrap with his cousin and best friend Gregg.  Eric, Gregg and Donna were surely waiting for Drew with open arms. 

Visitation will be Monday from 3-8 pm at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls. Funeral will be 11:00 am Tuesday at the funeral home followed by interment at Laure Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
