Edward J. Seugling, 86, a lifelong resident of Little Falls died Monday, August 14, 2023 at home.
Born in Paterson, he was a lifelong Little Falls resident. Mr. Seugling attended Little Falls Public
Schools, Passaic Valley Regional High School, Rutgers University and Montclair State University. He served in the New Jersey National Guard as well as the United States Army. He was an
avid snow skier and was active in the First Reformed Church of Little Falls for the majority of his life. Mr. Seugling was a retired Social Studies and Economics teacher at Passaic Valley Regional
High School from 1960-1996. He started and was the Publisher of The Little Falls Journal from 1990-1999.The Little Falls Journal grew out of his earlier publishing business, Custom Graphics
and Design, Inc. and his early passion for computers. Mr. Seugling also served on the Board of Directors of the Little Falls Savings & Loan from 1970-99 and served as Vice Chairman of the
Board of Directors from 1995-99.
He was a member of the Lake Hopatcong Antique and Classic Boat Society (ACBS), where he served as Vice President in 2004 and President from 2005-2006. He was also active as an ACBS
National Board Member from 2004-2007. Mr. Seugling was a member of the Little Falls Historical Society, the Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club and the Little Falls Lodge #154, F&AM of
Little Falls. Mr. Seugling loved spending his retirement boating and spending time with family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Edward L. Seugling and Edith Alice (nee Smith) Seugling Parker and by his sister, Lynn Cruger.
Survivors include: his wife, Jacqueline (nee Randon); his daughter, Carolyn Seugling Galvin and her husband, Andrew of Severna Park, MD; his son, Edward M. Seugling, MD and his wife,
Lilly of Keller, TX; and his three grandchildren, Olivia Seugling, Conor Edward and Aiden Galvin.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 from 4-8 pm at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls. Graveside Service will be 11:00 am Thursday, August 31, 2023
at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, 295 Totowa Road, Totowa (Cedarcrest Section). A Procession to the Memorial Park will leave the funeral home at 10:00 am. Those wishing to contribute in
