Elvira Torraca

Elvira Torraca, 90, of Little Falls, formerly of Gioi, prov. Salerno, Italy died Saturday, December 28, 2024 while receiving the loving care of her family.

Born in Gioi, prov. Salerno, Italy, Mrs. Torraca resided there for her entire life before moving to Little Falls, New Jersey to live with her daughter, Anna Maria Rizzo her husband, Robert. Elvira  loved flowers, gardening, sewing and making things for others.  While living in Little Falls she attended Mass at Holy Angels RC Church.

She was predeceased by her husband, Virginio Scarpa and her parents, Nicola Torraca and Isolina Garofalo.

In addition to her daughter, Anna Maria, she is survived by her son, Antonio and his wife, Grazia Camesasca of Monza, Italy; her three grandchildren, Claudia Niland and her husband, James, Christian Rizzo and his wife, Emily Skelly, Gaia Brambilla and her two great grandchildren, Luca and Stella Niland.

Visitation will be from 2-6 pm on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls. Funeral will be 9:00 am Thursday, January 2, 2025 from the funeral home followed by a 9:30 am Funeral Liturgy at Holy Angels RC Church, 465 Main St., Little Falls. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
