Giovanni Valentino Muzzin

GIOVANNI VALENTINO MUZZIN, 88, of Little Falls died Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at St Joseph’s University Medical Center, Paterson.

Born in S. Vito al Tagliamento, Italy Giovanni migrated to Toronto, Canada in 1963. In 1964, he came to the United States, settling in Astoria, Queens where he became a permanent US resident He moved to Little Falls in 2002. Mr. Muzzin was a 50 year member of the Plasterer’s Union #262.

He was predeceased by his wife, the former Anna Marie Pinelli in 1995, his parents, Ernesto and Bruna (Benevenuto) Muzzin and his step grandson, Christopher Dal Pan in 2022.

Survivors include his wife, Olga (nee Livrano) Dal Pan, his step daughter, Lisa Stewart and her husband, Glenn of Little Falls; his step son, Mauro Dal Pan and his wife, Allison (LeVitt) of Bloomingdale, his three sisters, Rina Chiggiato, Beppina Basso and Flavia Stefanello, nephew, Bruno Chiggiato and three step grandchildren, Michael and Nicholas Dal Pan and Victoria Hill and her husband, Dom.

Giovanni was caring, compassionate, and always put others before himself. He treasured and adored his family. He enjoyed dancing, singing, good food, wine, music and gardening.

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Monday, August 12, 2024 at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Little Falls. The funeral will begin at 9:00 am Tuesday at the funeral home followed by a 9:30 am Funeral Liturgy at Holy Angels RC Church, 465 Main St., Little Falls. Interment to follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Middle Village, NY. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
