Gloria S. (Stewart) Gambuti

Gloria S. (nee Stewart) Gambuti, 99, of Lakewood died on Sunday, July 28, 2024.

Born in Paterson, New Jersey, Mrs. Gambuti resided in Totowa, Parsippany Manchester before moving to Harrogate Retirement Community in Lakewood.

Prior to retiring as a Telephone Operator with Grandway Stores of Paramus, she was a Telephone Operator with New Jersey Bell.  Mrs. Gambuti was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Mrs. Gambuti loved doing crafts of all types.

She was predeceased by her husband, Peter L. Gambuti, in 2012 and by her parents, James Stewart and Jennie (nee Krapp) Stewart and her three sisters, Sal, Dorothy, Evelyn and her three brothers, Warren, James and Richard.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

A short service will be held at Laurel Grove Memorial Park and the service is private. Those wishing to make a contribution in Gloria Gambuti's memory may contribute to a charity of your choice
