Helen (Gerber) Senchak

Helen (nee Gerber) Senchak, 99, of Newton, formerly of Little Falls, died Sunday, July 18, 2021.

Born in Little Falls, NJ, she resided there before moving to New Mexico in 1999, returning to New Jersey in 2009. She had been employed at Curtiss Wright Corp of  Fairfield and Shulton Corp. of Clifton.

Mrs. Senchak was a member of the Second Reformed Church of Little Falls and was a former member of the Little Falls Jolly Seniors. An avid reader and knitter, she loved word searches and while living in New Mexico crocheted items for the local hospital.

She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Senchak, in 2000.

Survivors include: her two daughters, Margaret Lami of Sparta, NJ and Sandra Fernandez of Albequerque, NM; her five grandchildren, Jason Lami, Christina Khan, Todd Fairbairn, Scott Fairbairn, Rebecca Thompson, Jamie Field, Jason Fernandez and her eleven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10AM- 12 Noon on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls followed by a 12 Noon Funeral Service. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to Second Reformed Church, 6 Walnut St., Little Falls, NJ 07424.
