Helen “Dolly” (nee Franich) Santo, beloved wife of the late Robert for 60 years, sister-in-law to Dolores Franich and aunt to many nieces and nephews passed away on March 3, 2021 after a brief illness.
Ms. Santo was born in the Bronx, NY, lived in Garfield where she met the love of her life, and was a 60 year resident of Little Falls. An avid animal lover, Dolly was very actively involved in the sport of show dogs for much of her life. She was an active member of the Kennel Club of Northern New Jersey where she was the anchor for her husband Bob as he managed the club and Chaired their hallmark shows. She was also a member of the Stewards Club of America and the Morris & Essex Kennel Club. Before her marriage, Ms. Santo was the proprietor of Belleville Auto Radiator Service.
She is predeceased by her husband Robert, her parents Marinko “Murry” & Katherine Franich, and her brother Murry “Slim” Franich. A Committal Service will be held 11:00 am Monday, March 8, 2021 at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum 50 McLean Blvd., Paterson. Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls is in charge of services.
