Obituary
Helena (nee Wasilyw) Hawran, 96, of MONSEY, NY, formerly Mechanicsville, NY died Friday at Joe Rasa Hospice Residence in New City, NY.
While she was living in Mechanicsville, NY she had been a member of the Mechanicsville Area Senior citizens Organization, Inc.
She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Hawran, in 1994 and by her son, Bohdan Kowal, who was killed in action during the Vietnam War and by her parents, Paul and Maria (nee Egorowa) Wasilyw.
Survivors include: her two sons, Michael Kowal of Point Pleasant, NJ and John Kowal of Florida; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10-10:30 am Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls follow by a 10:30 am Prayer Service and burial at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Paterson next to her son, Bohdan Kowal.
