Irene B. (Slesinski) Marko

Irene B. (nee Slesinski) Marko, 90, of Little Falls died Monday, August 7, 2023 at Crane’s Mill in West Caldwell.

Born in Goshen, New York, Mrs. Marko resided in Bayonne before moving to Little Falls in 1972. She retired from First Jersey National Bank of Jersey City in 1998 after 40 years as an Account Representative.

She was an active parishioner of Holy Angels RC Church, Little Falls where she was active in the Rosary Society, the RENEW Program, Pre Cana Program and served as a Eucharistic Minister.

She was predeceased by her husband, George R. Marko in 2013, her sister, Lucia Urbanowicz and her brother, Edmund C. Slesinski.

Survivors include: her niece, Kim Slesinski, her nephew, Edmund “Chip” Slesinski and his wife, Wendy and her two great nephews, Matthew and Timothy Slesinski.

Visitation will be from 2-4 pm on Sunday, Aug. 13, 2023 at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls. Funeral Mass will be 9:30 am Monday at Holy Angels RC Church, 465 Main St., Little Falls (Please meet at Church.) Private cremation to follow. Memorial Contributions to Holy Angels RC Church would be appreciated.
