Jeremiah Desmond Brady

JEREMIAH DESMOND BRADY, 84, of Little Falls died Friday, July 11, 2025.

Born on Oct. 25, 1940 in Fall River, Massachusetts to Francis Ignatius and Sue (nee Birnie) Brady, he was a resident of Little Falls, NJ for more than 50 years. Mr. Brady was a graduate of Portsmouth Priory School, earning his AB and PhD from Harvard College and his MLitt from Cambridge University where he was a Fullbright Scholar.

Mr. Brady was a communicant and former choir member of Our Lady of the Holy Angels RC Church, Little Falls.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Brady was predeceased by his son, Samuel Bruce Brady in 2023; his brothers, Francis I. Brady and Upton Birnie Brady and by his sister, Rev. Lucy B. Talbot.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, the former Marion Talbot; his sister, Sue Brady Wankowicz of Oregon and Ellen Brady Finn Kelley of Ann Arbor, MI, sister-in-law, Sally Brady of Hartland Four Corners, VT and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Our Lady of the Holy Angels RC Church, 465 Main St., Little Falls.
