Joan L. (Decker) Campbell

Joan L. (nee Decker) Campbell, 85, of Little Falls died Thursday, May 27, 2021.

Born in Paterson, Mrs. Campbell resided in Little Falls for over 60 years. She retired as an Executive Secretary for Hunter Douglas, Inc. of Upper Saddle River, NJ where she was employed for 29 years.

Mrs. Campbell was Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of Henry Buikema Post #121, American Legion of Little Falls as well as former Leader of Passaic County American Legion Ladies Auxiliaries. More recently, she was a member of American Legion Post #174 in Wayne for the last 10 years. She also volunteered at area veterans hospitals and nursing homes.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald J. Campbell, Sr. on July 7, 2009, by her parents, Valdine and Sarah (nee Grimshaw) Decker as well as her siblings, Ruth Bish, Edna Mae Hillis and Val Decker.

Survivors include her three children, Charles “Chip” Campbell and Ronald J. Campbell, Jr, and his wife, Vicki, all of Little Falls; her daughter, Susan Barone of Oak Ridge; her four grandchildren, Kayla, Jake, RJ Campbell and Jill Sweeney and her great grandson, Landon Quimby.

Visitation will be held from Tuesday from 4-8 pm at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls. Funeral will be 10:30 am Wednesday at the funeral home followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cem., Totowa.
