John V. Santalla

JOHN V. SANTALLA, 74, of LITTLE FALLS died Tuesday, June 13, 2023.

Born in Paterson, NJ, Mr. Santalla was a lifelong Little Falls resident. He retired as a Warehouse General Manager with Hunter Douglas Corp. in Clifton and Maywood.  A veteran of the US Air Force during the Vietnam War, he served from July, 1968 to July,1974 during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Santalla was a member of the Little Falls United Methodist Church where he served as a Church Trustee and on the Building Committee.

He liked fishing, wood carving and cooking. As a very artistic person, he enjoyed theatre acting and stained glass.

Mr. Santalla was predeceased by his parents, Carlos and Gloria (nee Ranero) Santalla and by his brother, Victor Santalla.

Survivors include: his wife, the former Marijane Rhinesmith; his four children, Deborah and her husband, Derek, John Jr. and his wife, Erica, David and his wife, Melanie, Jessica and her husband, Branden; his grandchildren, Megan, Gavin, Kevin, Maya, Gia, Madisyn, Liam, Jacob, Grayson, Preston and three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 4-8 pm at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Little Falls. Funeral 10:00 am Saturday, June 17, 2023 at the funeral home followed by interment at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
