John Zizak, 71, of Little Falls died on Friday, Sept. 22, 2023.
Born in Paterson, New Jersey, Mr. Zizak was a lifelong resident of Little Falls, graduating from Passaic Valley Regional High School. As a talented individual, Mr. Zizak was a drummer in a band when he met his wife of 48 years, Rita (nee Marion). As a child, John was an actor with appearances in the following television series: East Side, West Side (1964), The Sid Caesar Show (1964); The Nurses (1965) Eternal Light (1966), Naked City (1963), The Patty Duke Show (1966), Naked City 1963) and stage appearances: Hunting the Jingo Bird (1966), Oliver! (1966), Six Characters in Search of an Author (1966) and a film appearance in The World of Ray Bradbury (1966) as Peter.
He was a member of the SAG-AFTRA and Pipefitters Union #274 of Parsippany.
John was predeceased by his parents, John M. Zizak, Sr. and Louise (nee Benzeroski) Zizak.
In addition to his wife of 48 years, Rita; John is survived by his sister, Marylou Stellmach and her husband, Thomas of Venice, FL; his niece and nephew, Kelly Castillo and Brian Stellmach and his two cousins, Eileen and Michael Kearney.
Visitation will be held at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Little Falls on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2023 from 11:00 am- 12 Noon followed by a Funeral Service.
