JOSEPH SARAFINE, 93, of Little Falls died on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at his daughter’s home in Duxbury, VT.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, Joe moved to Singac as an infant, moving to Paterson and West Paterson, then settled in Little Falls in 1956. He retired as the Office Manager for Bar-Lo Carbon Products of Fairfield, NJ.
Joe was a Veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean War. He was a member of Little Falls Lodge #154, F&AM of Little Falls, and had been active in the Little Falls Historical Society. Never being one to sit still, Joe kept busy traveling the world with his wife Pearl, gardening, baking for others and collecting antiques. Joe will be remembered for his positive outlook on life and for reminding everyone that every day is a good day and to keep smiling!
Joe was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Pearl, and his son, Wade. Survivors include his three children, Wendy Dallamura of Duxbury, VT, Cindy Metros of Boynton Beach, FL and Jay Sarafine of Lake Hopatcong, NJ; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 1st, at First Reformed Church, 65 Main St., Little Falls. Private inurnment will occur at the BG William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to First Reformed Church, Little Falls.
