Joyce Anne Potts

Joyce Ann Johnson Potts was born July 1st 1933 in Pequannock, New Jersey, Joyce attended grammar school in Little Falls, Passaic Valley High School and Paterson State Teachers College. She worked for ATT in Manhattan, Kearfott and in Willowbrook Mall.

She married John Potts in 1957 and had three children. She lived in North Caldwell for 60 years before moving to Cedar Crest.

Her joy came from family and volunteering. In the Little Falls United Methodist Church she taught Sunday School, was UMW President, Treasurer for 10 years and served on many committees.

She volunteered at Mountainside Hospital for Diabetes care, Willing Hearts, Consignment Shop / Rotary as treasurer for 15 years.

At Cedar Crest she volunteered with Resident Life, Marketing, General Services and Low Vision committees.

She was predeceased by her parents Evelyn and Wyckoff Johnson and her husband John Potts.

Survivors include John Potts his wife Gemma, Janet McKee and her husband Bill, Jeff Potts and her granddaughter Lisa Smith and her husband Sean.

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Little Falls. Funeral will be 10:30 am Wednesday at the funeral home followed by interment in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
