Lois (nee Latham) Lindsay, 94, of Cedar Grove passed away Monday, September 18, 2023 in Newton, NJ.
Born in Newark, she grew up in Irvington until settling in Cedar Grove where she lived for 63 years.
Mrs. Lindsay worked for a while as a substitute school crossing guard in town and volunteered to read to students at North End School. She and her late husband, James, were founding members of the United Presbyterian Church of Cedar Grove.
She was predeceased by her husband, James M. Lindsay, in 1974, by her parents, Kenneth and Mary Latham and by her sister, Doris Christie.
Survivors include: her son, Peter and daughter-in-law, Carla, and three granddaughters, Rebecca (Eric), Sara and Amanda.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am- 12:00 pm on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023 at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Little Falls followed by a 12:00 pm Funeral Service.
