Margaret A. “Peggy” Howley, 84, of Little Falls died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023.
Born in New York City, Miss Howley resided in Jersey City before moving to Little Falls over 60 years ago. She retired from Mutual of New York Insurance Co. of New York, NY where she was employed for 32 years. After retirement she worked at JC Penney of the Wayne Town Center in Wayne, NJ.
She was a parishioner of Holy Angels RC Church in Little Falls. Miss Howley loved country music, spending time with her family, watching the NY Giants and NY Mets and family vacations. She enjoyed her weekly visits with her sister, Patricia.
Ms. Howley was predeceased by her parents, James and Mary (nee Mullin) Howley; her stepmother, Florence (nee Wnukowski) Howley; her four sisters, Mary Alice (her twin) and Barbara Howley, Mary Gijanto and E. Eileen DeMicco as well as her nephew, Joseph Gijanto.
Survivors include: her sister, Patricia Howley of Green Brook, NJ; her twelve nieces and nephews: Louis, Russell, David, Eileen, Joel, James and Andrew DeMicco, Kimberly Ramirez, Jill Powers, Susan, Liza and Pamela Gijanto.
Visitation 4-8 pm Friday at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls. Funeral will be 9:00 am Saturday from the funeral home and 9:30 am at Holy Angels RC Church, 465 Main St., Little Falls. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
