Margaret R. Telson

MARGARET R. (nee Messina) TELSON, 86, of LITTLE FALLS passed away Wednesday Evening, April 15, 2020.

Born in Caldwell, NJ, Mrs. Telson resided in Little Falls for the last 48 years. She was a 1951 graduate of James Caldwell High School and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Newark Teachers College in 1955. She subsequently earned her Master’s Degree.

Mrs. Telson was a Teacher in the Parsippany School District and in 1983 was named Teacher of the Year.

Mrs. Telson was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Hilda Messina; by her brother, Charles Messina; by her twin sister, Angela Meyer; and by her sister in law, Carole and her husband, Bob Cleveland.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Richard D. Telson; her nieces and nephew, Laura Litchholt, Kimberly Arthur, Robert Cleveland, Jr. and Shannon Vincenti; three great nieces and three great nephews.

Given the Covid-19 situation, private graveside services were held at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield under the supervision of Bizub-Parker Funeral Home in Little Falls. Condolences may be left on the Tribute Wall at www.bizubparker.com.
