Marian J. Hancock

MARIAN J. (nee Slockbower) HANCOCK, 78, of Wayne, NJ died Friday, October 31, 2025.

Born in Paterson, New Jersey, Mrs. Hancock resided in Wayne for over 25 years. She enjoyed reading and keeping up with her soap operas and spending time with her great grandchildren.

Mrs. Hancock was predeceased by her husband, Joseph A. Hancock, in 2008; by her parents, Richard  J. and Marian (nee Courter) Slockbower, Sr. and by her brothers, Richard, William and Thomas Slockbower

Survivors include: her five children, Douglas Wilson and his wife, Brenda of Mt. Dora, FL, Kenneth Wilson of Wayne, Roy Wilson and his wife, Lisa Ann of Clearfield, Pa., Helen Woolley and her husband, Brian of Highland Lakes, NJ and Bonnie Wilson of Wayne, NJ; her sister, Janice Eckel and her husband, Edward of Ringwood; her seven grandchildren, Stephanie Wilson, Stephen Wilson, Corey Steinhilber, Matt Steinhilber, Kevin Wilson and his wife, Holly, Nicole Woolley, Margret Batis and her four great grandchildren, Jaxson, Skylar, Remington and Jayden.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 5-8 pm at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Little Falls. Please gather  at 9:15 am Friday in the funeral home parking lot for a procession to Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa for a 10:00 am graveside service.
