Mary E. (Magee) Wood

MARY E. (nee Magee) WOOD, 94, of Little Falls died Friday, April 12, 2024 at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, Paterson.

Born in Newark, New Jersey, Mary resided in Jersey City and Kearny, graduating from Kearny High School. After her marriage to Walter E. “Woody” Wood in 1955, she moved to Belleville and then to Little Falls 36 years ago.

She was a past president of the Belleville Woman’s Club and a member of the Alliance for a Better Community (ABC) of Little Falls.

She was predeceased by her husband, Walter E.” Woody” Wood in 2005 and by her parents, John and Eileen (nee Costello) Magee.

Survivors include: her two children, Maureen W. Andrews and her husband, Chuck Andrews of Springfield, NJ and Brian J. Wood and his wife, Lisa Wood, of Malvern, Pa and her five grandchildren, Chip Andrews, Corinne Bravard, Erin Andrews, Kelly and Connor Wood.
