Norma Lee (nee Jacobus) Taylor, 77, of Wayne died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023.
Born in Montclair, New Jersey, Mrs. Taylor resided in Woodland Park for most of her life before moving to Wayne 23 years ago. She was a 40-year School Crossing Guard in West Paterson.
Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Woodland Park Seniors, the Wayne Seniors, World Tavern Poker Association, and the woman’s auxiliary of Singac Memorial Post #108 of the American Legion. She loved Mount Airy Casino, playing Texas Hold’em and loved to read.
Mrs. Taylor was predeceased by her daughter, Brenda Schneider, on December 22, 2013; by her brother, Norman W. Jacobus, Jr., on May 16, 2023 and by her parents, Norman W. and Edna Pearl (nee Leblanc) Jacobus.
She is survived by her husband, Alan Taylor; her three children, Jason Taylor and his wife, Jennifer of Little Falls, Thomas Alan Taylor and his wife, Stacey of Hopatcong, NJ, her daughter, Lori Russo of Wayne ; nine grandchildren and her great grandson, Lucas Zimmer.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home 47 Main Street, Little Falls.
