Patricia Kubarewicz Obituary
Patricia “Pat” Marie Kubarewicz was a loving, caring wife, mother (Ham), grandmother (Grammy), and friend. She left this world on Friday, April 26, 2024 at age 88 in Berkeley Township, NJ.
She was born to Patrick and Margaret Doyle on May 18, 1935 in Paterson, NJ. Pat’s childhood was spent growing up in Singac, NJ. She graduated from Holy Angels Grade School, Passaic Valley High School, and the Sherwood School of Business.
Pat met the love of her life, William “Bill” Kubarewicz, at a Christian Youth Organization (CYO) dance. In 1955 they married. Together they had two children, Lois Anne and William Patrick. Little Falls was her family home for nine years. While there, Pat was a parishioner of Our Lady of Holy Angels Church and a member of the Enterprise Fire Company #2 Ladies Auxiliary. Eventually the family moved to Toms River, NJ, where Pat lived for 58 years.
Pat loved her family unconditionally, always willing to help at a moment’s notice. She was the best caregiver in the world! Pat was happiest spending time with her husband, family and dearest friends. Her husband made her laugh often. The sight of her children and grandchildren always brought a beautiful smile to her face.
Her attention to detail powered Pat as a super secretary for many years at accounting firms in Fair Lawn, Toms River, and Point Pleasant, NJ. Over the years Pat planned and enjoyed over 30 spectacular cruises with her husband to fabulous vacation spots. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Toms River, NJ, where she was as Adoration Chapel adorer.
Pat is survived by her husband of 68 years, Bill Kubarewicz; her children, Lois Anne Rosstedt and her husband, Mark O. Rosstedt; William Patrick Kubarewicz, Sr. and his wife, Catherine A. Kubarewicz; grandchildren Brad Connor Rosstedt, Rachel Anne Rosstedt, William Patrick Kubarewicz, Jr., and Kacey Michaela Kubarewicz.
She is predeceased by her parents, Patrick and Margaret (O’Connor) Doyle and her pet cats, Charlie, Wacky, Toesy, Willie, PC, Skipper, and Bindi.
Visitation will be from 8:30- 9:00 am on Monday, May 6, 2024 at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Little Falls. Funeral will begin at 9:00 am followed by a 9:30 am Funeral Mass at Holy Angels RC Church, 465 Main St., Little Falls. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre cemetery, Totowa.
