Richard P. Urtnowski

RICHARD P. URTNOWSKI, 60, of Wayne, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023 at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center.

Born in Paterson, Mr. Urtnowski resided in Wayne for most of his life. He was a Project Manager for Rush Legal Tabs of East Rutherford. Previously he was employed with Custom Index Corp. of Totowa for many years.

He was a 1980 graduate of Wayne Hills High School then attended art school in New York City. Mr. Urtnowski was intrigued by outer space and loved flying drones and rockets. He was a fan of horror films, Joe Cocker music and enjoyed feeding the birds.

He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Dolores (nee Walton) Urtnowski.

Survivors include: his daughter, Ashley Monochello and her husband, Dennis of Wayne; his longtime girlfriend, JoEllen Cammaroto of Clifton; his two brothers, Joseph Urtnowski of Florida and John Urtnowski of Clifton; his granddaughter, Marina Monochello and he was a father figure to Jessica Urtnowski.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Monday, February 6, 2023 at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls. Cremation will be private.
