Richard (Rick) Tissot

RICHARD G. (RICK) TISSOT, 64, of Morris County died peacefully on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 with his family by his side.

Born in Paterson, New Jersey, Rick resided in several states returning to New Jersey five years ago. Rick graduated from Passaic Valley HS, Little Falls, NJ in 1975. He was a professional server working at such notable places as The Russian Tea Room in New York City and the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee. Also being an avid Yankee fan, his dream job was working at Yankee Stadium cheering on his team.

Rick was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was a certified ambassador with the New Jersey Sharing Network, volunteering at their 5K. The greatest blessing for Rick was his family and vacationing at the beach. 

He is predeceased by his father, Richard A. Tissot.

Survivors include: his loving mother Janet (nee Wadsworth) Tissot Ceriani; his three sisters, Donna Tissot of Denville, Deborah Sauter and her husband, Nicholas of Little Falls; Dawn Bunk and her husband, Frederick of Parsippany; his nieces and nephews, Nicole Dilkes and her husband, Dave, Kenneth Sauter and his wife, Jenn, Kimberly Donadio and her husband, Rich, Kristen Bunk and his great nieces and nephews, Jocelynn, Devynn, Declan and Kove.

Visitation will be 4-8 pm Friday, August 26 at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls. Please meet at 11AM Saturday, August 27, 2022 at St. Agnes Episcopal Church, 65 Union Avenue, Little Falls for a Funeral Service. Private Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to St. Agnes Episcopal Church.
