Robert Copelton, Sr.

Robert Copelton, Sr., 91, of Totowa died Thursday, May 29, 2025.

Born in Prospect Park, New Jersey Mr. Copelton resided in Totowa since 1957 except for a time when he resided in Absecon, New Jersey and worked at Harrah’s Casino. He was a Veteran of the Korean War, serving in the US Navy. Mr. Copelton was a former member of the Totowa United Methodist Church.

He was predeceased by his wife, Joan Hessler (nee Carr) Copelton in May 2, 2025; by his son, Robert Copelton, Jr.; his daughter, Lori Copelton, in 2020; his brother, William J. Copelton in 2009 ; his sister, Grace Marinuk in 2016 and his parents, William H. and Ann (nee Van Dyke) Copelton.

Survivors include: his grandson, Scott Copelton.

A Graveside Service will be held 11:30 am Tuesday, June 3. 2025 at Laurel Grove Memorial Park (Chimes Hill Section), 295 Totowa Road, Totowa. Please gather near the cemetery office at 11:15 am for procession to the graveside.
