Robert James De Filippis

ROBERT JAMES DE FILIPPIS, 72, of TOTOWA died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021.

Born in Paterson, Mr. De Filippis resided in West Paterson and Totowa his entire life. He was an AP Macroeconomics and English Literature and Composition Teacher at Passaic County Technical Institute in Wayne and a business owner since 1985.

He earned his BA and MA from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ.

He was predeceased by his parents., Vincent T. and Ersilia (nee Corsetto) De Filippis.

Survivors include: his two children, Lisa Polverari of Little Falls and John Vincent De Filippis of West Orange; his two granddaughters, Olivia and Mia Polverari; his brother, James De Filippis and his nephew, Brian De Filippis.

A Walk-through visitation will be held from 3-7 pm on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls with a Funeral Service at 5:30 pm. Private Cremation to follow.
