Rossana Monahan

Rossana Monahan (born Yrma Paisi), 81, of Little Falls died Monday, December 27, 2021.

 Born in Trujillo, Peru, to Jose Isabel Paisi Terrones and Jesus Sanchez Mendoza. Rossana spent much of her youth in Lima, Peru where she became a Cosmetologist and would go on to run a successful business. Seeking change in life she ventured to the United States in 1971. She settled first in Paterson where she resided for twelve years, having her only son, Immanuel, before moving to California in 1983 for eight years. She returned to New Jersey and resided in Haledon and Clifton over the next few decades before recently moving to Little Falls with her son and his family.

She was predeceased by three older brothers, Raul Genaro Paisi, Antero Daniel Paisi, and Francisco Paisi. 

She is survived by her son, Immanuel Monahan and his wife Julissa of Little Falls. Dear grandmother to Samara, Emily, and Ethan. Missed by her three younger sisters, Herminia Alcalde of Clifton, Martha Zambrano of Little Falls, and Isabel Paisi of Peru and younger brother, Juan Paisi of Peru.

 Visitation will be Monday, January 3, 2022, from 4-8 pm at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St. Little Falls 07424. Funeral Ceremony will be 10:30 am Tuesday from the funeral home followed by entombment at Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa.
