Sergio E. Cajal, 49, of Little Falls died Thursday, September 21, 2023.
Born in Wayne, New Jersey, but grew up in Paterson which Sergio enjoyed sharing many of his memories about how amazing his childhood was, before living briefly in Clifton, and then moving to Little Falls 25 years ago. He was an Electronics Engineer with New Jersey Transit for the last six years. Previously, he was employed with Alpine, FujiFilm, ADT and Bizerba. Mr. Cajal was a graduate of RETS Institute in Nutley.
He was a big fan of the Boston Bruins, Celtics and Red Sox. He watched every single game in the company of his beloved cats Moms, Mimi, Popcorn and Stinky. When he was not watching his games he was putting his expertise and talent to work by always fixing or improving something around the house. One of his greatest achievements was with the company FujiFilm when they sent him to Japan to further his talents in a place that he has always wanted to visit. He always made it a point to take his family to Disney World every single year and create beautiful memories in every single park.
He was predeceased by his father, Manuel Cajal.
Survivors include: his wife, Michele Cajal; his three daughters, Jessica Cajal and her husband Frank Gloor, Kelly Cajal and Emily Cajal; his mother Luisa (nee Borches) Cajal; his three sisters, Gabriela Cajal and her husband Bill and their children Danny, Sebastian and Maya Champignon, Marcela Cajal and her husband Bob and Carla Barrueco; and his two grandchildren, Sofia and Jakob.
