Sotirios Panagoulias

SOTIRIOS PANAGOULIAS, 95, of North Caldwell, NJ died Thursday, March 23, 2023.

Born in Sparta, Greece, Mr. Panagoulias came to the united States in his late 20’s settling first in Indiana with relatives before relocating to New York when he married Stavroula Stergakos 62 years ago. He was the owner of Delphi Diner & Restaurant of West Islip, NY before his retirement.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, the former Stavroula Stergakos; his daughter, Aggie Doolen of North Caldwell; his son,  Louie Panagoulias and his wife, Helen of Massapequa, NY; his sister, Stella Tsafatinos of Greece; and his six grandchildren, Thomas, Sotirios (Sam), Chloe, Steven, Alexis and Sofia.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 27, 2023 from 9:30 am- 11:00 am at Ss. Nicholas, Constantine & Helen G.O. Church, 80 Laurel Avenue, Roseland, NJ 07068 followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.
