Susan R. (Katz) Gibbs

Susan R. (nee Katz) Gibbs, 70, of Woodland Park died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, Paterson.

Born in East Orange, New Jersey, Sue grew up in West Paterson before moving to Little Falls where she raised her family. She returned to Woodland Park about ten years ago.

She was a parishioner of Holy Angels RC Church, Little Falls and enjoyed her grandchildren and going to the beach.

Sue is survived by her husband, James Gibbs; her two children, Christine Gibbs- Starkey and her husband, Daniel of Woodland Park; her son, James L. Gibbs and his wife, Robyn of Egg Harbor Township, NJ; her sister, Beverly Switlyk and her brother, Arthur Katz, both of Little Falls; and her five grandchildren, Keira Gibbs, Christian Vazquez, Kelsey Gibbs, Daniel and Jax Starkey.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 12:00 Noon- 3:00 pm on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions my be made to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, 3401 Civic Center Blvd, Philadelphia, Pa. 19104.
