THOMAS P. ALTUNAGA, 83, of CEDAR GROVE died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020.

Born in Montclair, NJ, Mr. Altunaga resided in Cedar Grove for his entire life. He retired as a Construction Superintendent with Verona Construction Co., now known as MARVEC Construction, of Verona, NJ. He enjoyed playing golf and handball.

Mr. Altunaga was a Veteran of the US Army serving from 1954-57. He was a member of American Legion Post #185 of Caldwell.

He was predeceased by his parents, Tomas and Theodora (nee Feraco) Altunaga.

Survivors include: his wife of 58 years, the former Mary Ann Scillia and his daughter, Kristen Mary Altunaga of Caldwell.

Visitation will be from 2-7 pm Monday at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Little Falls. Funeral will be 9:00 am Tuesday from the funeral home and 10:00 am at St. Theresa of Calcutta Parish, Immaculate Conception RC Church, 32 North Fullerton Ave., Montclair. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cem., U. Montclair.
