Wesley Manuel Grandez Paredes, of Orlando, Florida, peacefully entered eternal rest on July 5, 2026, at the age of 78.

Wesley was born on August 3, 1947, in Caspizapa, San Martín, Peru, to the late Manuel Inocente Grandez and Zarela Hilda Paredes.

Wesley attended the National University of Central Peru in Huancayo, where he earned his degree in Education. He dedicated his early career to teaching at several high schools in Huancayo, Bellavista, and Picota, Peru.

Wesley played soccer during his college years and later competed at the semi-professional level. His love for the game stayed with him throughout his life, and he enjoyed watching soccer and cheering for his favorite teams.

In 1985, Wesley moved to the United States, settling in Paterson, New Jersey. He worked for 25 years at Sunbrite Textile Company in Passaic, New Jersey. After retiring, he relocated to Orlando, Florida, in 2010.

His greatest joy was his family, and he dedicated himself to loving, guiding, and supporting them unconditionally. He cherished every moment with his loved ones, sharing stories, creating lasting memories, and bringing his family together.

He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Windsor Wesley Grandez.

Wesley is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Blanca E. Grandez; his children, Teresita Ungarian, Wesley Grandez, Blanca Stec, Zarela Grandez, Johnn Grandez and his wife, Nancy, of Paterson, New Jersey, and Liss Speziale and her husband, Robert, of South Hackensack, New Jersey. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Jacques, Florian, Paul Jr., Nathalee, Oksana, Theodore, Gabriela, Alynna, Aylinn, Matthew, Marc, Michael, and Johnn Jr.; his great-granddaughter, Alessia; as well as his siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends.

He will be forever loved, forever missed and forever in our hearts.
