WILLIAM R. CROSSLEY, 78, of Fairfield died Tuesday, March 11, 2025.
Born in Paterson, New Jersey, Mr. Crossley resided in Paterson before moving to Fairfield over 40 years ago. He retired as an Electrician for Novartis Pharmaceutical Corporation of Florham Park, where he was employed for 40 years.
He found great joy caring for the wildlife that visited his backyard. His hobbies also included cars and gardening.
Mr. Crossley was predeceased by his parents, William E. and Lillian (nee Brokaw) Crossley and his brother in law, John Smith.
Survivors include: his two sisters, Lillian Smith of Woodland Park and Diane Everett and her husband, Fred of Wantage; and his nieces and nephews, Sherry Saccomanno and her husband, Bob, Scott Smith and his wife, Barbara, John Everett and his wife, Colleen, Melissa Johansson and his great nieces and nephews.
There will be a brief visitation on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 9:30- 10:00 am followed by a procession to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa for a graveside service and burial with his parents.
Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Little Falls is in charge of arrangements.
