Yvette Kalis

Yvette (nee Kak) Kalis, 93, of Wayne died on Wednesday, December 30, 2020.

Born in Aleppo, Syria, Mrs. Kalis came to the United States in 1979 settling first in Clifton before moving to Wayne. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Armenian Catholic Church, Little Falls.

Mrs. Kalis was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Kalis and by her grandson, Peter Nouri.

She is survived by her daughter, Gladys J. Nouri and her husband, John of Wayne; her three sisters, Jacqueline Msaddi of Aleppo, Syria, Maggie Baladi of Clearwater, FL and Nadia Nouri of Oak Ridge, NJ; her four grandsons, John, Mark, Paul and Andrew Nouri and two great grandsons, John and Dylan.

Private Funeral Services were held by the family. Memorial Contributions to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
